Fabens ISD delays classes 2 hours due to fire at Annex
Fabens Independent School District will operate on a two-hour delay on Thursday, Jan 16, due to a fire, the district posted on its social media.
A fire broke out in the Annex, or old Fabens High School, according to the post, causing the delay. A photo posted by Channel 7-KVIA appears to show the building in flames and a plume of smoke. Firefighters could also be seen battling the blaze.
“Thank you for your patience and understanding. Please keep an eye on our social media for updates,” FISD posted.
