2 rescued, 1 missing after boating incident near I-10 Causeway

SPANISH FORT, Ala. (WKRG) — Two people have been recovered and a man is missing after a boating incident Saturday night off the Interstate 10 Causeway near Spanish Fort.

WEATHER ALERT: Tornado Watch in Effect until 4 AM

Search officials said they received a call at 7:30 p.m. Saturday about the boating incident.

A man and a child were found.

Spanish Fort Fire crews, Daphne Search and Rescue and Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Marine Patrol are searching for a man.

Search officials told News 5 they plan to call off their search around midnight due to severe weather.
