Hughes Fire Blackens Landscape in Northwestern LA County

The Hughes Fire burned through brush in the mountains of northwestern Los Angeles County, as Cal Fire said the blaze was 24 percent contained on Thursday, January 23.

In footage shared by Angeles National Forest, a blackened landscape is seen after the fire ripped through the mountain brush near California’s Castaic Lake.
