Turkey Detains Erdogan’s Main Political Rival Imamoglu

Turkish authorities detained President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s most prominent rival Ekrem Imamoglu. The detention comes a day after authorities revoked his university diploma in a move that could bar him from challenging Erdogan in the next presidential election as a higher education degree is a mandatory requirement to run for the presidency.
