Jennifer Lopez buys sprawling new home after dinalizing divorce from Ben Affleck: report

Jennifer Lopez reportedly purchased a sprawling new home after she finalized her divorce from Ben Affleck.

The “On The Floor” hitmaker, 55, forked out $18 million on the new digs, located near Los Angeles, People reports.

Lopez and the Oscar winner, 52, settled their divorce in January, less than five months after she filed to end their two-year marriage.

The “Let’s Get Loud” singer has been on a house hunt since last spring. In April 2024, she began looking for a new home just as her marriage to Affleck began to crumble, the outlet adds.

Page Six has reached out to Lopez’s reps for comment.

Despite her rumored new house purchase, Lopez’s $68 million Beverly Hills mansion which she purchased with her ex-hubby continues to sit on the market.

The exes bought the property for an eye-popping $60 million in June 2023 after tying the knot in Las Vegas in July 2022. The pair married again in Georgia the following year.

News of the “Jenny from the Block” singer’s purchase comes just one day after Affleck broke his silence on the pair’s split, saying their divorce was “drama-free.”

The actor insisted fans’ “eyes would glaze over with boredom” if they “sat down and talked to” him about his seemingly “sensational” life in GQ’s April 2025 cover story, published Tuesday.

However, he did admit that he is “more reserved and private than” his ex-wife and that they did not “always have the same attitude toward” being in the public eye.

Still, there are no hard feelings between the exes.

“You’ve got to own what you knew going into any relationship,” he said. “It’s not like you can watch that documentary and go, ‘Oh, now I understand the issues that these two had.’”

Affleck added that the “Maid in Manhattan” actress is “somebody [he has] a lot of respect for,” and he does not want to “suggest” that “the line between public and private life” led to “negativity or judgment.”

“I have nothing but respect [for her]. I guess there’s a tendency to look at breakups and want to identify root causes or something. But honestly, like I said, the truth is much more quotidian than probably people would believe or would be interesting,” he added.

When pressed about the reason for the split, Affleck refused to divulge specifics because that felt “sort of embarrassing” and “vulnerable.”
