Andy Cohen admits he tried Botox for the first time
Andy Cohen is taking his first steps into the world of injectables.
While the Bravo mogul has been resistant to getting Botox in the past, he revealed during the âMarried to Medicineâ Season 11 reunion on Monday that he has finally tried out the treatment.
The âWatch What Happens Liveâ host, 56, first asked Dr. Contessa Metcalfe about getting the injection, joking, âWhat I really want to know is who gets more Botox, you or Scott [Metcalfe]?â
Contessa admitted that although her husband has gotten Botox injected into his forehead, he believes âmen arenât supposed to get [it] as frequently as women.â
The admission prompted Cohen to share candidly, âI just got it for the first time in my life.â
âHow long ago?â Contessa asked, to which Cohen replied, âAbout a month ago. They gave me a little.â
âWait âtil it hits,â Contessa excitedly told Cohen. Meanwhile, Toya Bush-Harris quipped, âItâs supposed to hit faster than a month. Come [down] to Atlanta. Come home to Atlanta.â
Cohen was open to a trip, but Dr. Simone Whitmore attempted to deter him. âTheyâll have your face frozen. Do not do that!â she warned.
While this marks Cohenâs first cosmetic procedure admission, the TV host frequently asks the âReal Housewivesâ cast members what plastic surgeries and other treatments theyâve undergone.
In January, he faced backlash for the question on X (formerly Twitter), where a critic wrote, âThe millions of women who watch these franchises are tired of you asking women âwhat work they had done.â
âThis isnât 2009 anymore and women can do whatever they want to their face/bodies. Itâs time to retire this question. Itâs rude and does 0 for the viewers.â
Cohen quickly responded, saying, ââWhat work have you doneâ remains at the top of the list of viewer questions every season, every franchise.â
âThe HW have unabashedly let us into their beauty regimes since day one,â he said. âItâs a big part of the series DNA.â
