A WINTER STORM WARNING and a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY in effect! The heaviest snow falls between 6pm and Midnight!
We are expecting our first significant snow of the season and it’s starting right now. At this point, it looks like 4-8 inches is the total amount of powder most of the state will get. That’s why a *WINTER STORM WARNING* has been issued for most of the state, minus the immediate shoreline that is underneath a *WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY*. It’s possible the SE corner may get a little less due to some mixing & the higher elevations may see a little more than 8″. For more information – check out our snow map below! After the storm, bitterly cold air arrives on the back end of the system, and highs will only be in the low 20s/teens mid-week – and with the wind chill, it will FEEL like it’s subzero and in the single digits.
