Popular adult content creator left horrified after stranger outs her for visiting abortion clinic

An Australian sex worker was left horrified when a stranger outed her while visiting an abortion clinic, prompting an avalanche of online abuse.
Tasha Paige, a popular adult content creator, recently fell pregnant with her boyfriend and was grappling with her decision.
The 23-year-old from Australia eventually decided to have a termination, stating it was âthe right decisionâ, adding neither she or her partner âwere readyâ to become parents.
However, she suffered further turmoil when secret videos and photos of at the abortion clinic began circulating on social media, prompting many to condemn Ms Paigeâs decision.
âSo many people were making comments to put my needs aside and to keep the pregnancy but my life at that time and with the babyâs father â neither of us were ready for that commitment and I didnât want to bring a life into this world where it wonât have the support or family around it given the situation at the time,â the OnlyFans star told news.com.au.
âI was shocked and upset when I saw the video of us on TikTok.
âMy privacy was invaded and the woman who shared it was also undergoing the same procedure, so I couldnât believe her shaming me for having one.â
Abortion is a common experience for Australian women. Around one in six have had the procedure by their mid-30s, according to research published by the Australia New Zealand Journal of Public Health.
Ms. Paige believes the backlash to the video, which has since been deleted, was particularly severe because of her X-rated profession.
âAlthough Iâm not on birth control, I take other precautions, and people assumed I didnât,â she explained.
âSome said, âWhat do you expect, youâre a sex objectâ, and others claimed âit was only a matter of time until this happenedâ.
âBut lots of women have or will have to go through this at some point. Needing to access this health care has nothing to do with my job, nor is it shameful.â
Though many gave unsolicited opinions on Ms Paigeâs decision, many agreed posting the video was an awful breach of privacy.
âAbortions are heavy and it takes a toll on your mental health and physical health. Iâm only now in the right headspace where I can collect what happened and respond accordingly,â she explained.
âI didnât confront the woman who shared the video and thankfully it was removed not long after she posted it after people reported it for violating privacy.
âBut I advised the private clinic of the video and let them know and they were very apologetic.â
The social media creator has decided to speak out about her ordeal in a bid to help de-stigmatize abortions, explaining: âMy whole reasoning with sharing it is to raise awareness and show others they arenât alone.â
