Blue Jays fans moons TV camera during spring training game
A full moon was out in the middle of the day in Dunedin, Fla. when a Blue Jays fan decided to drop their pants partially down in the stands during a spring training game between the Blue Jays and Phillies.
The now-viral moment occurred Friday afternoon at TD Ballpark when a male fan and female companion were sitting in the front row right behind home plate.
The man — wearing a No. 4 George Springer Blue Jays shirt — first appeared to be on his phone talking with someone while the pitcher threw a ball well below the strike zone.
The video then cuts to the man beginning to stand up while the woman next to him tries to stop him or get him to sit down, and that’s when he pulled the stunt.
While the woman tried to hold up his dark-colored shorts, he was able to pull them down enough to show his bare rear end before he pulled them up and sat back down.
The woman seemed to be laughing, meaning she didn’t find too much harm in the stunt, but it’s unclear if there was any reaction to it that differed.
The Blue Jays won the spring training game over Philly, and they wrapped up their final weekend before the regular season started with wins over the Twins and Pirates.
The Blue Jays open the season at home with a series against the AL East rival Orioles, beginning on Thursday.
