Catawba County woman sentenced after pleading guilty to several felony charges
BURKE COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A Connelly Springs woman was sentenced to five to seven years following guilty pleas to numerous felony charges and admission of habitual felon status, according to the district attorney for the 36th district.
Sarah Marie Worth, 33, entered guilty pleas to two counts of possession of a firearm by a felon, attempted obtaining property by false pretense and uttering a forged instrument, altering a vehicle title, possession of stolen goods and misdemeanor larceny.

Worth was convicted of larceny after breaking/entering in December 2020 in Burke County.
Worth will serve her period of incarceration in the custody of the North Carolina Division of Adult Corrections.
The sentence length for Worth was enhanced by her habitual status stemming from her prior convictions for obtaining property by false pretense in February 2023 and felony larceny after breaking/entering in October 2018 and December 2020. All were committed in Burke County.
