Plane crash reported Friday near Lubbock Executive Airpark

Lubbock officials are responding to a reported plane crash near the Lubbock Executive Airpark.

A Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson said the agency received a call about a plane crash near East 114th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard (County Road 7300 and County Road 2500) around 10:30 a.m. Friday. This is just adjacent to the Lubbock Executive Airpark.

Sheriff’s officials are asking the public to avoid the area as the situation develops. Additional details were not immediately available and it was not yet known if anyone was injured in the crash.
