Ciara shows some Giants love as Russell Wilson signs with new team
Ciara is already showing some love to Big Blue.
Shortly after husband Russell Wilson agreed to a one-year contract with the Giants on Tuesday, the singer took to Instagram to celebrate.
On her story, Ciara re-shared Wilson’s MetLife Stadium-focused post on X that said: “Been here before … can’t wait to do it again.
She added red, white and blue heart emojis to get into the Giants spirit.
Wilson’s deal with the Giants is worth $10.5 million guaranteed and could reach $21 million.
The 36-year-old quarterback spent last season with the Steelers, who remain in play for ex-Jet Aaron Rodgers.
The Jets opted to move on from the future Hall of Famer after just two seasons and signed Wilson’s former Steelers teammate, Justin Fields, to a two-year, $40 million contract as free agency began.
Wilson visited the Giants’ facility earlier this month, along with veterans Joe Flacco and Jameis Winston.
Winston, who faced Wilson and the Steelers twice last season as a member of the Browns, agreed to a two-year, $8 million pact with the Giants last week.
Wilson and Winston, 31, now join the franchise’s homegrown Tommy DeVito in the quarterback room.
The Giants prioritized the quarterback position this offseason following the release of Daniel Jones last November.
They originally set their sights on Matthew Stafford, who opted to re-up with the Rams.
Rodgers, 41, had also been in the mix and has yet to decide his next chapter.
He visited the Steelers last Friday.
The Giants, who finished the season at 3-14, hold the No. 3 pick in next month’s NFL draft and still have their sights on a rookie QB.
Giants staffers caught Miami quarterback Cam Ward in action Monday at his Pro Day.
The Titans hold the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, followed by the Browns at No. 2.
Wilson appeared in 11 regular-season games for the Steelers last season, along with a one-and-done appearance in the playoffs.
He completed 63.7 percent of his passes for 2,482 yards, 16 touchdowns and five interceptions.
Wilson has been married to Ciara, 39, since 2016.
They are parents to daughters Sienna Princess, 7, Amora Princess, 1, and 4-year-old son Win Harrison.
Ciara shares son Future Zahir, 10, with her ex, rapper Future.
