Man accused of driving from traffic stop with officer in car setenced

The 30-year-old man accused of driving from a traffic stop with a Dayton officer in tow has officially been sentenced.

News Center 7 previously reported that Dayton officers attempted to stop 30-year-old Antonie Still for a traffic violation in the area of Bierce Avenue and South Torrence Street on May 13, 2024.

He reportedly did not follow the officer’s orders and they told him to get out of the car.

While struggling with two officers, Still put the vehicle in drive and took off with one partially inside, according to a previous News Center 7 report.

After crashing the car into a parked vehicle, backing into a tree and running off, officers found Still under a porch and arrested him.

Still was charged with felonious assault, kidnapping, obstructing official business, and resisting arrest, according to a previous News Center 7 report.

He posted a $100,000 bond to get out of jail and did not appear for his May 28, 2024 court date.

According to court documents obtained by News Center 7, Still was sentenced to 4-6 years in prison for felonious assault and obstructing official business.

He is currently being held in Montgomery County Jail without bond.
