No. 3 Wisconsin will battle No. 6 BYU with a spot in the Sweet 16 on the line.
Both teams won their first round games handily, with BYU beating VCU 80-71 and Wisconsin winning 85-66 over Montana. In those wins, John Blackwell scored a 19 points for Wisconsin, the highest on the team, and Richie Saunders put up 16 points, four rebounds and two assists for BYU.
Whichever team advances will play the winner of Alabama vs. St. Mary’s next week during the Sweet 16 round.
