Deputies warn to avoid area in Placerville amid heavy law enforcement presence

(FOX40.COM) — The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office is advising the public to avoid an area in Placerville while several law enforcement officers respond to the scene.

Around 3:30 p.m. on Monday, EDSO announced a heavy law enforcement presence in the 6200 block of Red Robin Road near Lower Sly Park Road.

“Please stay out of the area if you do not need to be there,” EDSO said.

It is unclear why law enforcement is at the scene.
