Fire at Greenvale Townhouse Restaurant early Saturday morning

Nassau County’s Arson Bomb Squad is investigating a fire at a Greenvale restaurant early Saturday morning, authorities said.

The fire at the Greenvale Townhouse Restaurant occurred just before 2 a.m. Nassau police said. When they arrived, police saw fire on the roof of a “commercial building” at 49 Glen Cove Rd., according to a press release from the Nassau County Police Department.

Three fire departments — Glenwood, Roslyn and Syosset — extinguished the fire. No one was inside the building at the time and there were no reported injuries, the release said.

Nassau police said, The “Nassau County fire marshal and arson bomb squad detectives responded to the scene” and “the investigation is ongoing.”
