The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation was a joint operation with homeland security, ICE and the FBI. Two search warrants were served at East Spa and Bloom 88 after the Sheriff’s Office received tips from the public about illicit sexual activity. The four people arrested as a result of the investigation are Kenneth Robert Dash, Liping Feng, Lequn Hu, and Xueling Ma. All face charges of engaging in organized crime, and Dash faces additional charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
Sheriff Brad Youngman says the investigation included hundreds of hours of surveillance, which led to search warrants being granted. The Sheriff’s Office says the investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are anticipated.
