I felt reborn after my major $11K nose job — I even left my husband a month later
She absolutely nose her worth.
To elevate her life, Devyn Aiken went under the knife — and cutting away her “biggest insecurity” gave her the strength to cut out of an “unhappy” marriage.
“I’m choosing myself,” raved newly single and sliced Aiken, 30, from Philadelphia to South West News Service. “I feel so happy.”
She underwent an $11,000 rhinoplasty in November, chopping her stand-out schnoz down to size. The pricy, yet pivotal procedure empowered the brunette to demand a divorce from her husband of seven years in December.
Eye-popping footage of her jaw-dropping transformation has sniffed in over 4.5 million TikTok views from awestruck fans.
“This is my ‘Me’ era,” declared Aiken, now basking in the fullness of nose-job joy. “It’s an internal glow — I radiate that externally.”
It’s a post-breakup light that shines so bright in the delightfully divorced.
In fact, 82% of the footloose and fancy-free experience a renewed sense of confidence and inner peace after saying “peace out” to their ex-husbands and wives, according to a recent study.
And similar to Aiken, the happily unhitched are opting for makeovers, ensuring that their outside looks as good as they feel on the inside.
Gina Nagel, a 62-year-old grandmother from New Jersey, opted for a breast lift and tummy tuck after splitting from her ex-hubby of 33 years.
“I’m more fun and spontaneous than when I was married,” Nagel previously told The Post. “I never had a body that looked this good — even when I was in my 20s.”
Aiken, who was mercilessly teased for her overly-pronounced nose, now also feels sexy and secure thanks to her haute new honker.
“Middle school was rough with bullying,” admitted the millennial. “I was called a witch, toucan, Pinocchio.”
“It’s something I couldn’t control.”
The incessant shots at her snout weighed on Aiken’s self-esteem, causing her to settle for an ill-fated relationship.
“I stayed in a stagnant, unhappy marriage,” said the Pennsylvanian, who tied the knot with her former groom at age 23. “It was wrong just to stay together because of all the time we’d had.
“The last few years we grew apart,” added Aiken, who felt “stuck” in the unfulfilling union — until she underwent the “life-changing” cosmetic surgery, that is. “Everything didn’t align anymore.”
Everything, however, began lining up for the belle once she decided to reconstruct her conk with Dr. Mark Ginsburg, a Philly-based plastic surgeon, last fall.
“I was reborn in a way,” she said of her nearly six-hour operation. “Having so much downtime with my nose job gave me the time and clarity to think about divorce.”
“It made me think, ‘I can do this,’” said Aiken. “I’m strong.”
Now boasting a beautified beak, Aiken is taking life by the horns.
“You can start over whenever,” she gushed. “I know what I want now. I don’t have to settle.”
Aiken added: “Life doesn’t end when you go through divorce.”
The glamour-puss has even carved out a community of social media supporters who’ve likened her new look to the A-list likes of Bella Hadid and Celine Dion.
“I’m going to enjoy life,” said the single siren, who’s giddily “optimistic” for the future. “Do some traveling, dating — I’m excited for that.
“I’m embracing and welcoming the change.”
