Jesse L. Martin channels his ‘Rent’ broadway roots for an episode of ‘The Irrational’

Jesse L. Martin, star of “The Irrational” on NBC spoke with Astra about embracing his character as a behavioral scientist professor, and how he will get to channel his Broadway roots on TV. The actor reminisced about his time in New York City, working at the Moondance Diner in the 90’s and how people still recognize him on the street from ‘Rent’ on Broadway.
