Actor and director Justin Baldoni has filed a $250 million lawsuit against The New York Times, saying they uncritically embraced Blake Lively’s narrative when reporting on her smear campaign claims, including the β€œcalculated distortion” of texts. The Times vows to β€œvigorously defend against the lawsuit.” NBC’s Chloe Melas reports for TODAY.
