Leva Bonaparte Announces Exit From ‘Southern Charm’ After Season 10: “I Don’t Have A Very Salacious Personal Life To Share”
Leva Bonaparte is saying goodbye to Southern Charm.
Bonaparte, who was promoted to a main cast member in Season 7 after years of appearing in the background, announced on Instagram today that she would not be returning to the Bravo series for Season 11.
“Hi guys! Wanted to let you know that although this year was so fun, I’ll be stepping away from Southern Charm this year on great terms!” she said. “I am in a place now in my life where I want to have time to focus on Boys and my Joys. And need some time for a life reset on what is aligned for me!”
Bonaparte seemed to reference Craig Conover‘s claim that she said “more” at the Season 10 reunion than she did the entire time they were filming, telling her followers that she doesn’t have “a very salacious personal life to share.”
“But I do have a lot going on and frankly I’m working on some pretty cool stuff that I hope to share more of soon!” Bonaparte continued. “I love my friends on Charm wish them the best and I’ll show up when they need me. Maybe you’ll see me at party or two throughout their new season!”
Instead, Bonaparte will be turning her attention to Southern Hospitality, which recently wrapped its third season. The show follows her employees at Republic Garden & Lounge.
“Where you will see me is on Southern Hospitality in full force where I can focus my energy on the business and the show that has really found its footing this year thanks to the fans, the Bravo bloggers and the GOAT network @nbc @bravotv!” she wrote. “So this isn’t TV goodbye! Just maybe a you’ll see me a little less! 🫶🏽❤️ love y’all!”
Bonaparte’s co-stars from both shows have since left touching comments under her post.
“Leva, my incredible friend, I am so very proud of you!” Rodrigo Reyes wrote.
“So proud of you!! the best role model, boss, and mom ❤️,” Michols Peña added, while Bradley Carter said, “Thank you for teaching me so much ❤️ excited for our next journey!”
Venita Aspen commented, “So proud of you and everything that’s coming for you! I love you! 🤍🤍”
The restauranteur’s time on Southern Charm isn’t over just yet. You can still catch her in the two-part reunion, which begins airing Thursday (March 27) at 8/7c on Bravo.
