Ominous black smoke billows from California refinery (Video)

Six workers, including three who were hospitalized, were injured after a refinery fire broke out in Martinez, California on Feb. 1. Two workers were conducting planned maintenance work when a hydrocarbon material leak sparked the blaze. The fire was contained to the refinery and all injured personnel were released the following day, according to the state’s Office of Emergency Services.
