Mexican artist unfurls giant portrait of Pope outside hospital where he is receiving treatment

The oil on canvas work by Mexican artist Roberto Marquez was among the tributes left for Pope Francis at the base of a statue outside the Gemelli Hospital in Rome. Marquez wanted to show the closeness of the Mexican people to the Pontiff while he was still hospitalized recovering from double pneumonia.
