A winter weather advisory remains in effect until 1 a.m. Monday, with a lake effect snow warning set to take effect from 1 a.m. Monday through 6 a.m. Wednesday for Wayne and Northern Cayuga counties.

Winter weather advisories issued in NY
A winter weather advisory was issued for Niagara, Orleans, Monroe, Wayne, Erie, Genesee, Wyoming, Livingston, Ontario, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Allegany, northern Cayuga counties through 1 a.m. Monday Between 3 to 6 inches of snow, up to a quarter inch of ice or sleet is predicted in those areas.
Another advisory was issued for Onondaga County, where up to 5 inches of additional snow is predicted to fall Saturday. The advisory runs through 1 p.m. Sunday.
The advisories for Madison, Chenango, Otsego, Delaware and Sullivan counties run to 1 p.m. Sunday. In Madison County, 5 to 10 inches of snow is predicted in that timeframe and 3 to 5 inches of snow is predicted in the other counties. Up to three-tenths of an inch of ice is also predicted in all five counties.
