One month later, search continues for missing pregnant Wisconsin teen
BEAVER DAM, Wis. (WFRV) – One month after an Amber Alert was issued for 16-year-old Sophia Franklin, authorities continue their search to locate her.
Franklin is believed to have been taken from her home by 40-year-old Gary Day, who is reportedly the father of her unborn child.

“We continue to investigate this case and follow up on all leads,” the Beaver Dam Police Department said in a statement. “It is our priority to bring Sophia home to her family.”
Authorities believe the two may still be traveling in a black 2014 Buick. However, Day is known to collect license plates and may have changed them.

Officials urge anyone who sees Franklin or Day to contact law enforcement. If it is safe to do so, witnesses are encouraged to take a photo and submit it with a tip to local authorities.
