Millionaire Karen Identified As Tesla Vandal
A millionaire Karen was recently caught keying a Tesla Model Y in a Seattle area parking lot, the video spreading online until the woman was identified. Now that everyone knows who she is, many are shocked someone worth as much as she is would do such a thing. But the keying isn’t what some might assume.
California now has more car chargers than gas pumps.
With Teslas being vandalized at an alarming rate nationwide, it’s only natural to assume every time one is damaged it’s politically motivated. But that isn’t always the case, like in this incident out of the Seattle area.
In this case, which unfolded on March 20 in the Issaquah Commons shopping center, the Tesla driver was reversing out of a parking spot when 55-year-old Kamelia Enzler stopped her Toyota 4Runner, approached the driver’s side of the EV, exchanged words with the driver, then swiped her key across the paint, damaging it.
NEW: The Karen who was seen keying a Tesla in Washington has been identified as 55-year-old millionaire Kamelia Enzler, according to the Daily Mail.
In footage obtained by @choeshow, Enzler was seen getting out of her car before slashing the Tesla.

Police are characterizing the vandalism as a product of road rage, reports Daily Mail, and it seems to fit. But what triggered the fit of rage isn’t clear, or at least police aren’t saying anything about the motive.
Enzler reportedly owns a fitness company, IPEAK FITNESS, and her husband, Jeff Enzler, is the lead software engineer at DocuSign. They live in Bellevue, a swanky suburb of Seattle, in a house worth a cool $1.5 million which they bought in 1998 for $280,000.
With those kinds of assets and a reputation to defend, it’s shocking someone like Enzler would be throwing a public hissy fit and damaging someone’s car. What’s even dumber is doing that to a Tesla, which has cameras to record those kinds of exchanges.
A fair number of drivers these days run dashcams, too. We know when people rage out they stop thinking clearly and they do things they probably later wish they hadn’t. We’re not therapists, but we definitely think drivers need to find a way to keep themselves from slipping into full-on rage mode since that can come with some unpleasant consequences.
