Morgan Stewart blasted after crying for LA fire victims with Birkin collection
Morgan Stewart is being slammed for an emotional TikTok about the LA fires that backfired after eagle-eyed fans noticed thousands of dollars worth of Birkins in the background.
The âRich Kids of Beverly Hillsâ alum, 35, took to the social media platform on Thursday to reflect on the deadly fires that have ravished the city, forcing more than 200,000 evacuations throughout the region.Â
âI did not think this was going to be my return to TikTok video,â Stewart said with her pricey bags on display while noting she had a fun idea for her first 2025 TikTok video until the horrific infernos started on Tuesday.
âAnd obviously, with what has unfolded over the last two days is just the most horrific thing I have ever experienced. And Iâm not one to get emotional online,â she shared. â And Iâm luckily safe, my family safe.â
Stewart is married to Dr. Philâs son, Jordan McGraw, 38. The couple shares two children: daughter Row Renggli, 3, and son Grey Oliver, 2.
âWe were on evacuation notice last night, but people that have lost everything⊠horrific. Truly horrific,â the âNightly Popâ starlet told her followers with tears in her eyes.
âThe way the city is just like burnt to the ground after, like what has been like such an awful time post-COVID anyway, like, things have not been the same,â Stewart, a Los Angeles native, explained.
âAll these people are going to move away again and itâs just itâs unfathomable. And the fact that, yeah, people donât have anything. They donât have their home, they donât have the clothes, they donât have their memories, they donât have their jewelry. They donât have anything that,â the emotional TV personality stated.
Reflecting on her own evacuation order, a frazzled Stewart continued, âI had to, like, pack a bag last night because we were on an evacuation notice. I donât even know if I said that because Iâm so brain dead. And I was like, âWhat am I bringing? And I was like, leggings and notes my dad gave me and, like, jewelry.â
âI was like, âThe rest of it can burn to the ground,â really. Awful. Truly awful. So bad,â she concluded.
While Stewartâs sentiment was clear, trolls didnât give her a pass on the Birkin display, suggesting she should have been more mindful given so many have lost everything in the Palisades and Eaton Fires, which began burning on Tuesday.
âHorrendous choice for background. So relatable,â one person commented. âAs you sit in front of countless Birkins⊠I feel your pain,â someone seconded.
âGirl PLease, you really had to put that in the background,â a third noted. âI love you but for the love of God the background is sending me,â stated a fourth.
âI didnât hear anything after laser and then noticed your wealth wall behind you,â wrote someone else.
Others found humor in Stewartâs oversight.
âGirlie pack the purses,â one follower instructed. âGet ur purses in ur car and be prepared (just sayin) lol,â added another.
She has yet to address the backlash.
The Post has reached out to Stewartâs rep for comment.
Hardworking firefighters have been around the clock to battle at least six blazes in Los Angeles this week â the biggest being the Palisades and Eaton fires that have left at least 11 people dead.
Over 5,000 structures have been destroyed, and more than 200,000 Angelenos have been evacuated due to the fires that started on Tuesday.
The wildfires could cause $150 billion in damages, making it the most expensive blaze in US history, according to a report.
Several celebrities are among those who lost their homes.
Anthony Hopkins, Billy Crystal, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia, Paris Hilton, Anna Faris, James Woods, Steve Guttenberg, Mel Gibson, Tina Knowles, Miles Teller, Cobi Smulders, Melissa Rivers, Jeff Bridges, Candy Spelling, Eugene Levy, and Adam Brody and Leighton Meester are among the stars whose homes have been destroyed by the fires.
