‘Mumbai-style’ mountains of rubbish dumped as residents swarm mobile bin collection

Residents have left part of Birmingham looking like a “Mumbai rubbish mountain” after swarming a mobile bin collection in the city this morning (Thurs). Shocking photos show a huge 50ft (15m) mound of waste piled up on a community centre car park after locals began dumping their rubbish from 4am today. The mobile refuse collection service had been visiting the Tyseley area in an attempt to clear the backlog caused by the ongoing strikes.
