North Peoria crash causes parts of Willow Knolls Drive to close down

PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — A crash has forced parts of West Willow Knolls Drive to temporarily close.

A WMBD reporter on the scene saw one car on the sidewalk and another had been sent over a median and onto the other side of the road.

A spokesperson for the city of Peoria said West Willow Knolls Drive has been shut down between West Willow Lake Drive and West Allen Road and motorists should avoid the area.

The Peoria Police Department and fire department were on scene but did not give any information on the crash.
