NYC mom, boyfriend busted after kids found apparently malnourished, toddler tied to be with sweatshirt: sources

A Brooklyn mom and her boyfriend were busted this week after cops found three kids apparently malnourished inside their home – including a 3-year-old boy tied to a bed with a sweatshirt, cops and sources said.

All of the children, including two girls – a 6-year-old and a 10-month-old – were unattended when the cousin of their mom’s boyfriend showed up at the Linden Street apartment in Bushwick around 11:50 a.m. Tuesday, authorities and sources said. 

The boy’s wrists were fastened to a bed, and all three showed signs of malnourishment, cops and sources said. 

Meanwhile, the couple slept in another room, sources said. 

The cousin called the cops, who responded and found the neglected children, sources said. 

All three were taken to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center where they were listed in stable condition – with the boy suffering swelling on his wrists, cops and sources said.

Charges are pending against the mom, 25, and her boyfriend, 26, sources said.

The city’s Administration for Children’s Services was notified, according to the sources.
