Okaloosa County Schools open registration for new students
NICEVILLE β The Okaloosa County School District has opened registration for incoming kindergartners and new students for the 2025-26 school year.
To begin the enrollment process, parents must create a Focus Parent Portal account. The portal allows parents to view class schedules and grades, monitor attendance and discipline records and communicate with teachers.
To register, families must use the childβs legal name and provide a valid address within Okaloosa County. Schools have registration kiosks in front offices to assist with the process.

The online enrollment request will be considered valid once additional documents, including proof of residence and a parent or legal guardian’s signature, are submitted to the school. Once completed, the child will be linked to the parentβs portal account.
Parents can watch an instructional video provided by the district for an overview of the registration process. To register a parent portal account, go to okaloosa.focusschoolsoftware.com/focus/auth.
