Vanessa Trump dropped Tiger Woods clues before romance news

Vanessa Trump left a trail of social media breadcrumbs hinting at her secret relationship with Tiger Woods long before the news broke.

The ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr. followed the golf legend’s personal Instagram account, his TGR Foundation and the Tiger Woods Center as well as several Woods fan pages over the past few months.

As far back as December 2024, Vanessa, 47, has “liked” several videos and pictures of Woods, 49, on social media — including ones with his kids and a tribute that the athlete posted for his mother, Kultida Woods, who died in February.

Page Six confirmed Thursday that Vanessa and Tiger are an item, with sources saying they are not “too serious” but that it is “heading in that direction.”

“They have a lot in common. They’ve both gotten used to public scrutiny. They both know how to keep their private life private. They’re both parents,” one insider shared.

We learned that the duo started out as friends, but their relationship budded into something much deeper.

“They’re a good match; they’re level-headed, they like to avoid drama, they share a lot of the same values,” the source said, noting Tiger historically “always tried to date girls who just weren’t right for him.”

We’re told Vanessa and Tiger are “taking things slow,” but there is a possibility their romance could become “really serious and permanent.”

An insider added of Vanessa, “She’s not starstruck by him; she’d date him even if he weren’t famous. Fame doesn’t interest her; that’s what he likes best about her. … We’ll see where it goes.”

They have been dating since Thanksgiving 2024, according to the Daily Mail.

While it is unclear how they met, Vanessa and Tiger run in the same circles and live just 20 minutes away from each other in Florida.

Her eldest daughter, Kai Trump, is an avid golfer who often plays with President Trump.

Kai, 17, attends the same Palm Beach, Fla., school as Tiger’s two kids, Sam, 17, and Charlie, 16.

“She comes to his place on Jupiter Island. They’re not living together,” an insider told the outlet. “She comes over and spends the night and leaves in the morning. Maybe a few nights a week.”

The source added, “They just love hanging out, having dinner and schmoozing together. They’re sticking close to home, have decided not to make it a thing and go out in public. Not just yet anyway.”

Vanessa was married to Don Jr., 47, from 2005 to 2018. In addition to Kai, the exes share sons Donald III, 16, Tristan, 13, and Spencer, 12, and daughter Chloe, 10.

Meanwhile, Tiger wed Elin Nordegren, who is the mother of his kids, in 2004.

Their marriage infamously fell apart in 2009 after the golfer’s cheating scandal, and they divorced in 2010.

Tiger moved on with a former manager of one of his flagship restaurants, Erica Herman, whom he dated for six years until 2023. After their split, they were entangled in a heated legal battle over an NDA.
