Part of busy road closed after truck hits utility pole, wires down in Clark County
Part of a busy road is closed after a pickup truck hit a utility pole in Clark County early Wednesday.

WHIO Traffic Reporter Jake Magnotta will provide alternate routes for drivers to get around this morning on News Center 7 Daybreak from 4:25 a.m. to 7 a.m.

State troopers from the Springfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) responded around 1:37 a.m. to U.S. 40 and S. Tecumseh Road on reports of a crash.
OSHP dispatchers told News Center 7 that a Chevy pickup truck hit a utility pole. Both the pole and live wires were down.
Ohio Edison came out to deactivate the wires and would fix the pole later, dispatchers said.
No injuries were reported.
The crash remains under investigation.
