Officials identify suspect in stabbing death of Cal Fire captain
(FOX 5/KUSI) — The San Diego County Sheriff’s Office identified on Thursday a suspect in the stabbing death of a Southern California Cal Fire captain and asked for the public’s help in finding her.
The agency said the suspect is 53-year-old Yolanda Marodi, who is also known as Yolanda Olenjniczak. The sheriff’s office said that her current location is not known.
She is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs around 166 pounds, and has brown hair.
She is a suspect in the death of Rebecca Marodi, a Cal Fire captain who was found fatally stabbed at her home in the San Diego County community of Ramona on Monday.

Sheriff’s officials had said that they were treating the case as a possible domestic violence incident and indicated that the captain may have known the suspect.
The sheriff’s office said that it is working to determine the motivation and circumstances surrounding the homicide.
