Zhou Shen new music
A quick glance at the 32-year-oldâs discography on Spotify shows just how prolific he is. Shen singles are dropped regularly; in fact, since September 2024, Shen has had nine separate releases.
However, his most recent full-length album, âShenself,â hit shelves on Sept. 29.
Comprised of 14 tracks, the pop record is a fantastic showcase of Shenâs gentle falsetto. For us, the highlights are âThe Giverâ (track five), which took us aback with its jumpy beat and breathy vocals and the ninth track âWala li Longlaâ thatâs just pure fun. We canât speak for everyone but the song brought us back to our youth, middle school dances and riding bikes all within its short, three-minute runtime.
Shen also dabbles in metal on the 12th track â quite a departure from his melancholic ballads.
To hear for yourself, you can find âShenselfâ here.
