Shooting leaves man dead near Extended Stay America hotel in Bethpage, police say
Nassau County police are investigating the death of a man whose body found near a Bethpage hotel with a gunshot wound.
Around 9:41 p.m., officers responded to a report of a man shot near Extended Stay America hotel, on South Oyster Bay Road. Police found the unidentified man, who is believed to be in his 30s, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Police did not specify where the victim was found. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
