Shots fired at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology in Lancaster

(WHTM) – Shots were fired on the campus of Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology in Lancaster on Sunday.

In a statement on Sunday evening, the college said that “an incident” occurred and that shots were fired on the main campus. The school says “the current information is that shots were not aimed at people or buildings.”

Pennsylvania State Police say no one was injured during the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Lancaster Station at 717-299-7650. Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology security can be contacted by calling 717-391-7225.

Founded in 1905, the school offers two-year associate degrees in 24 programs to more than 1,400 students. The main campus is located blocks from downtown Lancaster.
