Most of Michigan was predicted to see accumulating snow Friday into Saturday as winter storms hit the state.

Metro Detroit was expected to get 2-4 inches, while some other towns had forecasts of up to 5 inches of snow.

• Detroit: 2.5 inches

• Flint: 2.2 inches

• Garden City: 1 inch

• Grandville: 2.5 inches

• Hudsonville: 2.5 inches

• Kentwood: 1.8 inches

• Macatawa: 5 inches

• Macomb Township: 1.5 inches

• Okemos: 2.2 inches

• Romulus: 3.7 inches

• Roseville: 1.6 inches

• Sterling Heights: 1 inch

• Sumpter Township: 1.3 inches

• Utica: 2.2 inches

• Waverly: 1.6 inches

• White Lake: 2 inches

• Wyandotte: 3.9 inches
