Stolen items and drugs connected to string of robberies in Augusta seen on latest Police 24/7

Season 2 of the CW’s “Police 24/7” started last week, putting multiple Augusta incidents on national television. On Thursday, a second episode aired.

Once again, viewers watched as Richmond County Sheriff’s deputies were on display. It was just one incident in the latter half of the episode. We watched them make a stop in the middle of Wrightsboro Road near the Walmart and Wendy’s. A deputy said it was connected to a string of robberies. They found some allegedly stolen items in the trunk and drugs in the front street.

Viewers were also treated to a drone shot of Augusta and a shot of a patrol car moving down the 700 block of Broad Street.

Last summer, RCSO had several appearances throughout the first season of the show. Only time will tell if that happens again with season 2.

New episodes are air weekly on Thursday nights at 8 p.m. If you can’t watch it live, episodes are available to stream for free with ads the next day on cwtv.com/shows/police-24-7/.
