Taylor Frankie Paul’s Swinging Friend Miranda Hope Makes Shocking ‘Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives’ Appearance In Season 2 Teaser
#MomTok survives! The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives broke records when its debut season premiered on Hulu in September 2024. Now, the show is coming back for its sophomore season in May — and it looks like there will be a few surprises along the way.
Season 1 centered around #MomTok creator Taylor Frankie Paul and the aftermath of her swinging scandal. The social media group’s pristine reputation was threatened after Paul revealed on TikTok that she and her now ex-husband were soft-swinging with their other Mormon friends, none of whom appeared on the show.
While no one on the first season was actually part of Paul’s swinging group, it seems as though one of the women in question will be joining them for Season 2.
“Wait, that’s the girl that was swinging with Taylor,” someone says upon seeing TikTok influencer Miranda Hope (previously McWhorter) in the explosive Season 2 teaser, which Hulu dropped today. Her ex-husband Chase McWhorter, whom she divorced in 2023, previously confirmed that they were in the swinging group, along with former couple Brayden Rowley and McKenna Rowley, in an August 2024 episode of the OnlyDads podcast, per SheKnows.
Elsewhere in the trailer, Whitney Leavitt — who ended Season 1 on bad terms with the rest of the cast — says everyone was still “holding grudges” against her. And while Paul and now ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen seem to be working on co-parenting their one-year-old son Ever, Zac Affleck is trying to make amends with his wife Jen Affleck, who is currently pregnant with their third child and recently checked into a wellness retreat to heal her “trauma.”
Speaking of pregnant, Jen isn’t the only one expanding her family this season. Both Mayci Neely and Mikayla Matthews recently announced that they are expecting their third and fourth children, respectively.
In the wise words of Demi Engemann, “Honestly, the show must go on.”
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 2 drops on May 15 on Hulu.
