Tell Us: When Did You Know You Were Falling in Love?

Falling in love can be a magical experience, a sudden one, an utter mystery that at the same time makes perfect sense. Sometimes, it happens all at once. Other times, it’s a process. Regardless of how you fell in love, the “Modern Love” podcast wants to hear your story.

For our upcoming Valentine’s Day episode, we want to hear about the moment you knew you were falling for someone. It can be about a relationship you’re currently in, a past love or something happening to you right now. Any which way, we want to hear about how you realized you were falling in love. Where were you? What did it feel like? What did you do next?

Please record your response as a voice memo and email it to modernlovepodcast@nytimes.com by Feb. 5, 2025. Start by telling us your full name, your pronouns and where you live. We will listen to all the voice memos sent to us, and we may use excerpts from your message in an upcoming episode.
