Billy Crudup talked testicles when we slept together

He passed the teste.

Naomi Watts revealed the cheeky comment Billy Crudup made about his testicles to cheer her up when they first slept together.

In her new book, “Dare I Say It: Everything I Wish I’d Known About Menopause,” the 56-year-old actress recalled wearing an estrogen patch for hormone therapy when she first started going through menopause.

“I was worried that if he saw [the patch] he would realize it meant I was menopausal: no longer a vibrant, fertile being,” she wrote. “Unfortunately, the patch’s adhesive leaves a mark on the skin that’s very hard to get rid of.”

Watts remembered ripping off the patch in preparation for a hot-and-heavy evening at Crudup’s place, only to spend a long stretch of time scrubbing her skin “raw” in the bathroom so he would not see the marks.

The “Morning Show” actor, also 56, then asked whether everything was OK because the “Mulholland Drive” star was taking so long.

“I came out mortified,” she wrote. “I stumbled and reached for words, but nothing would quite come out.”

Watts ended up explaining to Crudup that she was wearing the patches for menopause and did not want him to know.

“A smile broke over his face. He seemed very relieved that the issue wasn’t a lack of desire,” she shared. “He told me he thought it was great I was taking care of myself, and he asked me how he could help.”

To make the “Ring” star feel better about herself, the Tony nominee opened up about his own experience with aging.

“Hey, if it makes you feel better: I’ve got gray hairs on my balls,” he told her, according to the book.

Watts joked that, to this day, those remain “the most romantic words” she has ever heard “onscreen or off.”

“And that includes the script of every movie I’ve ever been in,” she wrote. “And even this same man’s very loving marriage proposal, which came seven years later.”

The “King Kong” star and Crudup fell for each other on set of their Netflix series “Gypsy” in 2017.

They proceeded to date in private and did not make their red carpet debut until five years later.

The lovebirds sparked engagement rumors in 2023 and confirmed two months later that they had tied the knot.

Prior to their relationship, Watts dated Liev Schreiber for 11 years before breaking up in 2016. They share two kids: son Sasha, 17, and daughter Kai, 16.

Schreiber, 57, secretly married Taylor Neisen in 2023, and they welcomed their first child together, daughter Hazel, a month later.

Crudup, for his part, shares son William, 21, with his ex-girlfriend Mary-Louise Parker. The “Almost Famous” actor notoriously left Parker while she was seven months pregnant for Claire Danes.
