Towpath Trail to close at Cuyahoga Valley National Park

BRECKSVILLE, Ohio (WJW) – There’s a closure that will impact the trails at Cuyahoga Valley National Park for a little while.

According to CVNP, the park will temporarily close the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail between Red Lock Trailhead and Brandywine Creek from Monday, March 3, to Friday, May 2, 2025.

The trail will be fully closed during this time. It will not reopen during evenings and weekends.

The closure will also impact the Valley Trail.

The closure is to install the new Brandywine Creek culvert.
