‘The View’s Ana Navarro Appalls Sunny Hostin By Revealing Close Relationship With Trump AG Pick Pam Bondi: “What’s A Little Election Fraud Between Friends?”

The View fans can always count on Ana Navarro to shake up the Hot Topics table. This morning, the co-host shocked Sunny Hostin and the rest of the panel when she admitted she used to be close with Pam Bondi, an election-denying lawyer who was chosen as Donald Trump‘s new pick for Attorney General after disgraced Rep. Matt Gaetz dropped out of consideration.

Hostin declared that, while Gaetz would have been a “dangerous” Attorney General, Bondi is “a dangerous pick as well,” citing her support in 2020 of “Trump’s false election claims” and her involvement in “the efforts to overturn the results.”

Navarro then jumped in to share her history with Bodi, whom she’s known “for many, many, many years.”

“I don’t want to ruin her reputation with MAGA people, but Pam Bondi and I hung out a lot when she was Attorney General of Florida and she would come to Miami,” Navarro said. “We drank a lot together. I liked her a lot. She’s not a kook.”

She then turned to her left, where Hostin was sitting, and quipped, “What’s a little election denialism between friends? Everything in life is relative.”

Hostin wasn’t amused, telling her, “Election denialism is a very big deal,” but Alyssa Farah Griffin joked, “We’ve got to take the wins where we can find them, folks.”

And Navarro wouldn’t back down. She repeated, “Everything in life is relative. There is no accusation of sexual harassment or assault against her, there’s no accusation of sexual misconduct with a 17-year-old, she hasn’t beheaded a whale, she hasn’t stabbed a dead bear cub. I mean, my god!”

Hostin stood her ground, too. She cautioned Navarro, “We can’t minimize some of the things she has done,” before playing a clip of Bondi speculating about the use of “fake ballots” in 2020.

Hostin then proclaimed, “I don’t think we need to minimize someone like that who is supposed to be the people’s attorney,” before predicting, “She’s going to be Trump’s attorney.”

The View airs weekdays 10/11c on ABC.
