Two hospitalized after police-involved crash in Lansing
LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A Lansing police vehicle was involved in a crash Monday afternoon.
The incident happened on S. Pennsylvania Ave near the I-496 ramp.
At least two vehicles were involved—a Lansing Police Department patrol car and a second unspecified vehicle. According to LPD, the officer’s vehicle had lights and sirens on at the time of the crash, and the officer did stop at the red light.
An officer and the driver of the other vehicle were taken to a nearby hospital with what police say are non-life-threatening injuries.
At this time, it is not known when exactly the crash happened or if alcohol or other substances were involved. Further details on how the crash occurred are also not available at this time.
