Police believe the older sister was driving too fast for the winter weather conditions, causing her to drive over a snowbank on the highway and vault off the bridge. Police said the SUV fell 100 feet, landing in the Blue River.
The male passenger was sitting in the front seat at the time of the crash. He was badly hurt and taken to the hospital with critical injuries, according to police.
There is no update on his current condition or his relation to the two sisters.
