U.S. Marshals arrest Memphis woman on first-degree murder charge
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A woman wanted in connection to a deadly shooting earlier this year in the Parkway Village area was arrested Monday by U.S. Marshals.
The U.S. Marshal Service said Anntenika Brown, 45, was taken into custody at home in the 3300 block of McCorkle Road in the Whitehaven neighborhood. She is facing a charge of first-degree murder.

On January 13, 2025, Jeffrey Washington was shot to death in the 4200 block of Cottonwood. A day later, an arrest warrant was issued for Brown.
Manslaughter charge dropped against TN man in wife’s death
The USMS Two Rivers Violent Task Force in Memphis was assigned to the case. Deputy marshals and task force officers said when they located Brown on McCorkle, she initially made a false statement about her identity, but they were able to make a positive ID.
Brown is being held at the Shelby County Detention Center. Police have not said what led up to the shooting.
