Video shows movie theater ceiling cave in during ‘Captain America’ screening in Washington
Talk about an action-packed movie.
During a showing of the latest Marvel film in Central Washington state, a historic movie theater’s ceiling collapsed crashing onto seats and the floor below, local officials reported.
According to the Wenatchee Fire Department, the scene took place Tuesday about 8 p.m. during a showing of “Captain America, Brave New World” at Liberty Cinema in Wenatchee
The city, in Chelan County, is about 150 miles east of Seattle.

According to its website, the theater was built in 1919 and has eight screens.
As of Friday, the website showed the theater was temporarily closed.

No injuries after movie theater ceiling collapses
A movie theater ceiling collapsed in Washington during a screening of Captain America. There were no injuries.
Only two people were in the theater during the accident, fire officials said.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the collapse remained under investigation on Friday by fire officials.
