The legendary run is nearing the end.

From February through April, The Eagles have just ten ‘Live In Concert at Sphere’ residency shows left on their schedule before handing over the venue’s reins to Dead and Company, Kenny Chesney and Backstreet Boys.

First, they’ll play two shows on Friday, Feb. 21 and Saturday, Feb. 22.

After that, Don Henley and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group will headline four March and four April concerts. The swan song is set to take place Saturday, April 12.

Although not confirmed, this may be the band’s final show. When they announced their farewell tour back in July 2023, it was hinted at that the journey would likely end in 2025.

“Our long run has lasted far longer than any of us ever dreamed,” the classic rockers shared in a statemnt. “But, everything has its time, and the time has come for us to close the circle.”

For those that have yet to see them in Vegas, The Eagles regularly deliver a 20-song set at all Sphere shows, which includes fan-favorites like “Hotel California,” “Life In The Fast Lane” and “Lyin’ Eyes” along with Henley and Walsh solo tracks as well as a handful of deep cuts.

What separates these gigs from a standard concert though are the visually-spectacular, mind-bending wraparound graphics surrounding the band and audience.

“In one triumph of what modern software can do, seemingly hundreds of full-motion band clips expand to fill a large hallway that expands behind the band,” Variety reported, in a review of the group’s opening night at Sphere.

If you’d like to be there, last-minute tickets are still available.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find was $216 before fees on Vivid Seats.

Other shows have tickets starting anywhere from $241 to $303 before fees.

Although that sounds expensive, Eagles Sphere prices have dropped since we last reported on them on Tuesday, Feb. 11.

Not a bad way to avoid “Heartache Tonight.”

Other shows at the Las Vegas Sphere

When Henley, Walsh, and co. aren’t lighting up the Sphere stage, you can catch Academy Award-nominated director Darren Aronofsky’s ambitious immersive film “Postcard From Earth” or U2’s ‘V-U2’ concert film on most nights.

In late February, innovative EDM artist Anyma resumes his larger-than-life ‘End of Genesys” for four shows. The final concert on March 2 is allegedly the last he’ll perform at Sphere for the foreseeable future.

After that, Dead and Company will revive their residency that wrapped in August. Bobby Weir, John Mayer and co. have 18 shows lined up at the eye-popping entertainment epicenter.

Then, come May, Kenny Chesney takes over the reins for a recently-extended 15-show stay.

Finally, Backstreet Boys headline a 16-concert run in July and August.

Vince Gill solo tour 2025

After The Eagles put their Sin City stint on ice, singer and guitarist Vince Gill will strike out on a solo run of his own.

New Yorkers who want to see him are in luck, too. The 22-time Grammy winner has a show booked at the Beacon Theatre on Friday, July 11.

The Eagles band members

When you’ve been “taking it to the limit” since 1971, there’s bound to be a bit of shakeup in your group.

Still, after 50+ years together, 77-year-old founding member Don Henley (drums, vocals, also known for the ’80s smash “Boys of Summer), continues to head the group.

At all Sphere dates, he’s joined by 77-year-old Joe Walsh (who lent his talents to the James Gang), 77-year-old Timothy B. Schmit (bassist and vocalist who played with Poco), 22-time Grammy winner Vince Gill and the late Glenn Frey’s 31-year-old son Deacon.

Past members that are no longer with the band include Frey (who passed in 2016) and Randy Meisner (died in 2023). Bernie Leadon is still alive but hasn’t played with the band since 2016. As for guitarist Don Felder, he tours with Styx and REO Speedwagon’s Kevin Cronin, although The Post reported he suffered a medical emergency at a recent show.

Over the course of the group’s 53+ years together, The Eagles have received six Grammy Awards, performed over 1,000 concerts, and sold over 150 million albums.
