On Dec. 8, 1976, The Eagles released “Hotel California.”

The seminal record, the band’s fifth studio album, won multiple Grammys, hit No. 1 on the Billboard charts and spawned the sublime singles and classic rock staples “Life in the Fast Lane,” “New Kid In Town” and, of course, “Hotel California.”

Nearly a half century later — where does all the time go? — Don Henley, Joe Walsh and co. are still going strong delivering the hits from their 1976 classic as well as their other iconic tunes at Las Vegas Sphere as part of their ongoing ‘Live In Concert at Sphere.’

Their live show, which only has eight dates remaining at the time of publication, is a spectacular marriage of the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers’ music and Sphere’s groundbreaking, immersive, wraparound 360-degree visuals that have left critics spellbound.

Billboard shared in their glowing review that “the first night of the Eagles’ five-month Sphere residency proved there’s something particularly enchanting about pairing songs that have this deep of a history with a brand-new medium to experience them…this show was worlds apart from any Eagles concert before it.”

If you want to be there to hear all your favorites live in a larger-than-life, awe-inspiring setting, last-minute tickets are still available to see the band live this April (as well as in September when the group officially concludes their run with four final gigs).

As of now, the lowest price we could find on tickets to see The Eagles in April was $249 before fees on Vivid Seats.

Other shows at the Las Vegas Sphere

When Henley, Walsh, and co. aren’t lighting up the Sphere stage, you can catch Academy Award-nominated director Darren Aronofsky’s ambitious immersive film “Postcard From Earth” or U2’s ‘V-U2’ concert film on most nights.

A few weeks ago, Dead and Company revived their residency that originally wrapped last August. At the time of writing, Bobby Weir, John Mayer and co. have 15 more shows lined up at the eye-popping entertainment epicenter.

Then, come May, Kenny Chesney takes over the reins for a recently-extended 15-show stay.

Next up, Backstreet Boys headline an 18-concert run in July and August.

Lastly, Tomorrowland and Insomnia have teamed up for a three-day electronic music festival at the space called UNITY. It goes down Aug. 29-31.

Vince Gill solo tour 2025

After The Eagles put their Sin City stint on ice (at least until they pick things back up in September), singer and guitarist Vince Gill will strike out on a solo run of his own.

New Yorkers who want to see him are in luck, too. The 22-time Grammy winner has a show scheduled at the Beacon Theatre on Friday, July 11.

When you’ve been “taking it to the limit” since 1971, there’s bound to be a bit of shakeup in your group.

Still, after 50+ years together, 77-year-old founding member Don Henley (drums, vocals, also known for the ’80s smash “Boys of Summer), continues to head the group.

At all Sphere dates, he’s joined by 77-year-old Joe Walsh (who is well known for having lent his talents to the James Gang), 77-year-old Timothy B. Schmit (bassist and vocalist who played with Poco), 22-time Grammy winner Vince Gill and the late Glenn Frey’s 31-year-old son Deacon.

Past members that are no longer with the band include Frey (who passed away in 2016) and Randy Meisner (died in 2023). Bernie Leadon is still alive but hasn’t played with the band since 2016. As for guitarist Don Felder, he tours with Styx and REO Speedwagon’s Kevin Cronin, although The Post reported he suffered a medical emergency at a recent show.

Over the course of the group’s 53+ years together, The Eagles have received six Grammy Awards, performed over 1,000 concerts, and sold over 150 million albums.
